Alliance-Bank_eng-ConvertedAlliance Bank (Kazakhstan) commenced the issuing of “VISA Instant Issue” cards as part of the consumer crediting programme. Alliance Bank is the market leader in consumer crediting in Kazakhstan and in the very near future plans to transfer all its consumer crediting operations to plastic cards. In order to accomplish such a goal by the end of 2007 the Bank plans to install 1,000 ATMs and to develop its own payment kiosk network that will be connected to its processing centre built on the TranzWare products. This will allow greater customer convenience as the Bank will be able to accept payment cards for credit repayments in its terminal network.

The new express-crediting technology enables the Bank in just 40 minutes to accept a credit application, perform scoring and based on these results issue a customer with an active card, which he can immediately use for cash withdrawals or making purchases. All the accounting procedures and business logic of the product are managed by the back office system of the Bank’s processing centre – TranzWare CMS.

The Alliance Bank’s processing centre is integrated with the Rapida-Kazakhstan payment system. This allows the Bank to accept payments for mobile and Internet services from a wide range of suppliers not only via ATMs but also accept credit repayment via the network of terminals connected to the Rapida-Kazakhstan system.

Alliance Bank has Principal Member status in both MasterCard and VISA International. Based on the asset size and shareholders’ equity, Alliance Bank is the fourth largest commercial bank in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It has 173 branches across the Republic of Kazakhstan and holds the leading positions in the consumer crediting market.
