With support from Compass Plus, the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia (TDBM) has completed certification in the Visa payment system with EMV-card issuance. The bank has also certified the issuance part of its own e-Commerce solution (Access Control Server) based on TranzWare e-Commerce from Compass Plus with Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code. TranzWare e-Commerce is a 3-D Secure-compliant solution allowing advanced and reliable Internet transaction authenticity checks (from both Issuer’s and Acquirer’s sides).

These projects are aimed at providing TDBM’s customers with innovative modern services and secure technology for bank card payments and to help the bank maintain their position as the market leader.

TDBM and Compass Plus have successfully worked together for nearly 10 years. During this period, a highly qualified team has been put together by the bank which, with support from Compass Plus specialists, is able to develop and implement exceptionally challenging projects.

Today TDBM is the largest commercial bank in Mongolia. The bank started developing its card business in 2001 by setting up an in-house card processing centre based on TranzWare products, and completed its Visa certification in a record period of time – only 3 months from the contract being signed. The bank is proactively developing agency programs by making the outsourcing services of its processing centre available to other banks in Mongolia.
