TransCreditCard supported implements hi-tech services from Mastercard for TransCreditBank with help from Compass Plus

TransCreditCard logo eTransCreditCard, the processing centre of one of the largest commercial banks in Russia, TransCreditBank, has launched EMV credit cards with Mastercard PayPass, the innovative contactless payments technology, using state-of-the-art software solutions from Compass Plus.

TransCreditBank Gold Mastercard credit cards with PayPass technology will enable customers to pay for purchases and services faster and more conveniently than with standard magnetic stripe or chip cards. Making payments has never been more simple or secure - the customer simply taps their card on the terminal’s card reader removing the need to pass the card to a cashier. If the total purchase amount is less than 1,000 RUR, there is no need to enter a PIN or sign a receipt.

Contactless payments with Mastercard PayPass technology can be made in retail establishments equipped with PayPass-enabled terminals, for example, at BP gas stations in and around Moscow and at Aeroexpress ticket machines and offices. Mastercard PayPass cards are accepted by more than 440,000 retailers in 41 countries across the globe.

Certified by Mastercard in Internet acquiring using 3D Secure (SecureCode) technology, TransCreditBank was also successfully certified in the same program in April 2012 for card issuance due to the use of TranzWare e-Commerce - a comprehensive solution from Compass Plus that provides advanced and reliable Internet transaction authenticity checks.
